Pentafon is Recertified On ANSI/TIA-942

Pentafon, a leader in customer experience solutions, celebrates its recertification to the ANSI/TIA-942 Tier II version C 2024 standard, standing out as the first contact center in Mexico and North America to achieve this certification with the most recent update of this recognized standard. The ANSI/TIA - 942 standard is a set of guidelines and technical specifications that guarantees the availability and security of Data Centers, which are essential for the continuity of business operations in an increasingly digitized world. This standard ensures that data centers are designed and operated in a way that they can withstand the demands of modern businesses, minimizing the risk of outages that could impact productivity and efficiency.

What Recertification Means

By reaching the ANSI/TIA - 942 Tier II level, 99.741% of the time availability is ensured. This means that the Data Center is designed to minimize disruptions, both planned and unplanned, thanks to an infrastructure that includes redundant components, such as electrical and cooling systems.

In addition, Pentafon has made significant investments in key areas to meet the certification requirements, including:

  • Redundant power systems (UPS and emergency plants).
  • Certified structured cabling.
  • Fire detection and suppression systems.
  • Monitoring of environmental conditions.
  • Access control with double authentication.

Regional leadership

Being the first contact center in North America to be certified under this new release underscores Pentafon's commitment to operational excellence and security. In an environment where business continuity is critical, this recertification reinforces customer confidence by providing reliable services aligned with international standards.

The robust infrastructure and advanced security measures in place not only ensure operability, but also protect against external risks that could compromise critical information and operations.
