During the pandemic, Pentafon supported Walmart by implementing 50 customer service stations in less than two weeks for the Hot Sale season

The world’s leading hypermarket chain, Walmart, selected Pentafon to install 50 workstations and meet the surge in service demand during the Hot Sale season, which tripled during the pandemic. Both companies had to work intensively to select and train over 100 people while maintaining social distancing protocols, and to install and integrate secure systems so that more than 50 stations could be up and running in less than a month.

Over the past 12 months, Walmart has opened 5 distribution centers to support its e-commerce operations: 3 dedicated fulfillment centers in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey; and 2 omnichannel distribution centers in Mérida and Chihuahua.

Thanks to Pentafon’s technology and expertise, Walmart was able to quickly scale up its service capacity and continue delivering a strong customer experience to its growing base of digital consumers.
